Revista Médica do Paraná vs Revista BioSCIENCE: An 80-year-old "Old Lady" changing for the future

This video demonstrates what the academic journal BioSCIENCE is, why the name was changed from Revista Médica do Paraná to the current one, and what the format will be like from 2022 when the journal completes 80 years of uninterrupted circulation.

It also suggests an opportunity to publish supplements that would be requested by universities and faculties in the healthcare sector to publish their work presented annually at events, symposium-type meetings, conferences or other events, and also in public defenses of undergraduate course completion work. (TCCs), for example, and others carried out at the IES. The work carried out is no longer just an oral presentation and also becomes a scientific article with DOI, transformed as such within the criteria and types of submission defined by BioSCIENCE.

 

BioSCIENCE is an electronic journal whose mission is to publish peer-reviewed articles (Peer Review) in a continuous submission. It is of general interest in the health area and is aimed at clinicians, surgeons and researchers in medical sciences, their related and biomedical areas. Its editorial team has relevant participants from Brazil and abroad who receive articles for review or are invited to publish in the journal (Editorial Team)
