BioSCIENCE offers the opportunity for universities or individual colleges to use it to publicize their work in a form other than traditional research, review or reporting. They could be blogs, opinions, student or institutional activities, so that people interested in the general activities of the institution have easy and up-to-date access to what is being done or what they want to do there. They will also be able to post scientific texts that, if they are considered interesting to BioSCIENCE's mission, will receive DOIs, thus contributing to the faculty being able to add texts to their annual obligations in terms of quantity established by SINAES (page 85) regarding scientific production.
